About the Role

As a General Support Intern, you will work closely with Freesia’s front-of-house and back-office teams to help deliver smooth day-to-day operations. You will gain valuable exposure to the non-clinical side of patient care.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Welcoming clients and visitors at reception
  • Scheduling and confirming appointments
  • Maintaining administrative records and clinic setup
  • Assisting with general logistics and service organisation

What You Will Learn

  • First-hand experience in healthcare administration
  • Understanding the importance of confidentiality and record-keeping
  • Working with clinical and support teams to coordinate services
  • Foundational skills for NHS, private, or voluntary health roles

Minimum Requirements

  • Friendly, punctual, and comfortable interacting with people
  • Organised and confident handling information
  • Good written and spoken communication
  • Comfortable using a computer or spreadsheets
  • Interested in healthcare delivery or administration

Preferred but Not Required

  • Experience in reception, admin, or customer service
  • Understanding of safeguarding or patient confidentiality
  • Desire to pursue a health-related or people-focused career
