Full job description

1. To be responsible for the day to day service provision to Service Users by producing detailed work schedules for the Care Workers and providing both written and verbal instructions/guidance to them.

2,To allocate all unassigned calls during on-call hours – where visits can’t be assigned, undertake the visit

3. Participate in the out of hours when required and produce a report accordingly to management and the rest of the office team.

4. To ensure that telephones are answered promptly and people are spoken to in polite and respectful manner.

5. To maintain confidentiality at all times and carry out the Company’s Confidentiality Policy.
6. To carry out the monitoring of the service in the field to ensure that it meets the quality targets of the Company, contractual requirements of the commissioners and report to registered manager outcomes and issues that are identified.

7. To visit Service Users and to make reviews of the written Care Plans, examine the written records of medication administration, finance and daily log notes kept by Care workers.

8. To assist with induction and supervision of Staff.
9. To carry out spot checks, supervision, appraisals and reviews of the staff’s performance.
10. To assist the Manager in holding team meetings for Care Workers.
11. To maintain accurate records such as service users authorised hours, number of visits, communication with health professionals as well as office communication.

12. To ensure we are providing support to service users according to their support plan.

13. To book holiday requests for care workers and ensure cover of visits in their absence,

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £26,000.00 per year

Experience:

  • Domiciliary Care: 1 year (preferred)
