Clinical Operations Advisor – Salary circa £42,000 - £45,000

Locations: Sheffield, Eastleigh, Glasgow

This is a great job for someone who has a clinical background and enjoys using that expertise to guide others, improve processes, and make a real difference to customer outcomes. This role suits someone who is confident working independently, thrives on solving problems, and is motivated by delivering high-quality, evidence-based decisions.

A bit about the job

In this role, you will provide expert clinical guidance and operational support to help deliver safe, effective, and high-quality services. You will work closely with claims teams to make sure decisions reflect current medical best practice and industry standards.

You will also build strong relationships across the business, acting as a trusted point of contact for clinical advice. In this role, you will help drive process improvements, support colleagues with complex queries, and contribute to better outcomes for customers.

Working with a strong sense of purpose, in this role, you will help ensure that every decision supports fair, consistent, and customer-focused outcomes.

Skills and experience we’re looking for

  • Nursing qualification with a strong understanding of healthcare systems and medical best practice
  • Experience providing clinical advice or support in an insurance, healthcare, or related environment
  • Ability to analyse complex information and make clear, evidence-based decisions
  • Strong communication skills, with the confidence to guide and support colleagues
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to wider team and business objectives

  • Starting salary circa £42,000 - £45,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
