Please do not apply unless you have the relevant work experience in solicitor firm, and qualifications. We are seeking a dedicated Immigration Paralegal to join our legal team. The successful candidate will assist with immigration casework, prepare documentation, and support the team in managing client files. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in immigration law and seeking to develop their legal support skills within a professional environment. The position is paid and suitable for candidates with strong organisational abilities and excellent communication skills. Must have at least one year experience in Immigration and Asylum law. Must have a good knowledge of the law. Must be able to speak Arabic or Hindi.

Duties

  • Assist in preparing Immigration application and appeal bundles
  • Organise and maintain client files, ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date
  • Conduct research on immigration laws and procedures as required
  • Liaise with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on case progress
  • Draft correspondence, reports, and legal documents using Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • Ensure compliance with all legal standards and deadlines related to immigration cases
  • Attend meetings or legal visits

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English
  • A second language such as Arabic or Hindi is required
