Bondcare Nursing Homes is looking for an experienced, dynamic and highly capable Peripatetic Manager to join our team and provide national support across our nursing home portfolio.

This is a key leadership role for an individual who thrives on making a real difference. You will work across our homes to drive quality improvement, strengthen compliance, support turnaround programmes and provide experienced leadership when it is needed most.

The role will involve stepping into homes during periods of sudden management absence, recruitment gaps, leadership transitions or where additional operational support is required. You will quickly assess the situation, provide stability and implement clear, effective action plans to ensure our homes continue to deliver high standards of care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide experienced management cover across Bondcare Nursing Homes nationally.
  • Step in as Acting Manager during sudden absences, recruitment gaps and management transitions.
  • Lead and support homes requiring quality improvement or turnaround.
  • Identify compliance concerns and implement robust action plans to address them.
  • Drive continuous improvement in care quality, governance and operational standards.
  • Ensure homes are prepared to meet CQC and other regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with Home Managers, senior leadership and care teams to embed sustainable improvements.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring and hands-on support to home management teams.
  • Assess operational challenges quickly and take decisive action to stabilise and improve performance.
  • Promote a positive culture focused on outstanding care, resident wellbeing and regulatory compliance.
  • Travel extensively across the UK, working wherever your expertise is most needed.

About You

We are looking for a confident and resilient leader with proven experience in nursing home or healthcare management.

You will ideally have:

  • Proven experience as a Nursing Home Manager, Registered Manager or senior healthcare manager.
  • A strong understanding of CQC requirements and regulatory compliance.
  • A demonstrable track record of improving quality, compliance and operational performance.
  • Experience managing challenging situations and leading turnaround or improvement programmes.
  • The ability to quickly establish credibility and build strong relationships with teams.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • The confidence to work independently and make effective decisions under pressure.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to working across different homes and teams.
  • A genuine passion for delivering high-quality care and improving outcomes for residents.
  • The ability and willingness to travel extensively across the UK.

What We Offer

This is a high-impact role offering the opportunity to work across a growing organisation and make a tangible difference to the quality of care delivered across our homes.

We offer a lucrative and highly competitive package, which may include:

  • Competitive salary
  • Generous car allowance
  • Travel and expenses covered
  • Career development opportunities
  • The opportunity to work with and support a diverse portfolio of nursing homes
  • A senior leadership role with significant responsibility and influence
  • The chance to make a genuine difference to residents, families and care teams

If you are an experienced nursing home leader who enjoys solving problems, improving standards and supporting teams through change, we would love to hear from you.

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a national role where no two days are the same, using your expertise to make a real and lasting impact across Bondcare Nursing Homes.

Pay: From £70,000.00 per year
