Full job description

At Seasalt, creativity is in our DNA. We began in 1981 in a small shop in Penzance, crafting workwear for local mariners and artists. Today, we’re a modern lifestyle brand with over 80 shops across the UK and Ireland, 400+ wholesale stockists, and a growing global presence. We may have grown, but we’ve always stayed true to our roots with Cornwall’s artistic influence and maritime heritage woven into every garment.

As a certified B Corp and winner of Drapers “Best Place to Work” in 2024, we’re proud to balance our culture with long term growth. It's an exciting time to join us as we build on our distinct creative handwriting, brand differentiation, and expanding both internationally and in the UK.

As a Marketing Assistant, you’ll help keep seasonal marketing campaigns organised, on track and running smoothly. You’ll work closely with teams across Marketing, Creative, Digital, Public Relations, Retail Operations and Visual Merchandising to support campaign planning, timelines, meetings and point of sale coordination.

You’ll help manage marketing calendars and workflow systems, ensuring teams have visibility of activity and deadlines. You’ll also coordinate point of sale ordering for launches, promotions and retail activity, ensuring materials arrive in stores on time.

Please note this is a full time, permanent role. As part of our Seasalt Connected approach to ways of working, this role will be based flexibly across our Cornwall head office locations (minimum 40% of working week) and remotely within the UK.

You’ll help us by:
  • Coordinating seasonal marketing planning timelines and flagging any risks or delays.
  • Supporting collaboration and communication across Marketing and wider business teams.
  • Acting as a point of contact for queries relating to campaign planning timelines.
  • Organising cross-functional meetings, sign-off sessions and marketing calendar reviews.
  • Supporting meeting administration, including agenda planning and note taking.
  • Maintaining and updating the marketing calendar to ensure information is accurate and current.
  • Supporting the administration of Monday.com to improve workflow visibility across teams.
  • Coordinating point of sale (POS) ordering for launches, promotions and retail campaigns.
  • Liaising with suppliers, Retail Operations and Visual Merchandising teams to ensure point of sale (POS) materials are delivered on time.
  • Supporting wider marketing and customer projects, including new store openings and campaign briefing activity.
The skills you’ll be sharing with your team:
  • Competent using Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to collaborate and build relationships across teams and departments.
  • Strong attention to detail when managing information and deadlines.
  • Good organisation and time management skills
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach to work
  • Passionate about working within the industry
  • A supportive and collaborative team player
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
  • A relevant degree/qualification in Marketing, Media. Fashion or Business is desirable but not essential.
  • Previous experience within marketing, fashion, retail, and/or multichannel business is desirable but not essential.
Why we hope you’ll love working with us:
