James Ray Recruitment are working with a well-established and respected law firm seeking an experienced Clinical Negligence Fee Earner to join its growing legal team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated legal professional to take responsibility for a varied caseload of clinical negligence claims, providing high-quality legal advice and support to clients throughout their claims.

Responsibilities

  • Manage an established caseload of clinical negligence claims from initial instruction through to conclusion.
  • Handle a varied caseload comprising claims of different levels of complexity.
  • Work on a broad range of challenging and rewarding clinical negligence matters.
  • Take responsibility for progressing cases effectively and providing high-quality client care throughout.
  • Participate in the department’s new enquiries and instructions rota.
  • Assist with assessing and taking on new clinical negligence matters.
  • Develop and grow your own caseload and client base as part of the role.
  • Opportunity for an established caseload from day one.

About You

  • Proven experience managing a clinical negligence caseload independently from inception through to settlement or trial.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical negligence law, procedures and case management.
  • Excellent client care and communication skills, with a professional and empathetic approach.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
  • Confident working independently while contributing effectively within a supportive and collaborative team.
  • A proactive and committed approach to delivering high-quality legal services.

Pay: £30,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
