Medical Negligence Solicitor

Salary: Circa £60,000-£70,000.00 OTE (depending on experience)

Overview

Due to continued growth, Satchell Moran Solicitors is seeking an experienced Medical Negligence Solicitor to join our expanding department. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional looking to manage high-quality, varied work in a supportive and progressive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of Medical Negligence cases from inception to settlement or trial
  • Undertake investigations, obtain expert evidence, draft pleadings, and handle litigation
  • Vet and risk-assess new cases and enquiries
  • Liaise with clients, experts, and external stakeholders
  • Work proactively to meet deadlines and targets
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the department

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience handling Medical Negligence claims (including litigated matters)
  • Strong billing history
  • Proficient in Proclaim Case Management
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and client-care skills
  • Advocacy experience beneficial but not essential
