Looking for a role where no two days are the same?

We're searching for a positive, organised and proactive HR Admin Assistant to join our friendly MAP (Monster Ambition and Progression) Team on a part-time basis.

This is far more than a traditional HR administration role. You'll get involved in everything from employee engagement and recruitment to training, office management and company events. If you're someone who enjoys variety, loves being organised, has a creative eye and genuinely enjoys helping people, we'd love to hear from you.

Whether you're looking to kick-start your HR career or build on your existing administration experience, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills, learn from an experienced team and make a real impact from day one.

Monster Group is one of the UK's fastest-growing ecommerce retailers, supplying high-quality, great-value products to customers around the world. We source directly from suppliers, sell across more than 150 online marketplaces, and deliver directly to our customers from our Monster distribution centres.

At Monster, we do things a little differently. Our values of Fun+, Respect, Empowerment and Forward Thinking are at the heart of everything we do and shape the way we work, collaborate and support one another every day.

Our MAP Team goes beyond traditional HR by championing employee development, progression, wellbeing and engagement. We're passionate about creating a workplace where our people can grow, succeed and genuinely enjoy coming to work.

Your Role

  • Support the MAP Team with day-to-day HR and administrative tasks, including emails, scheduling meetings, updating records and maintaining documentation.
  • Help coordinate company training by booking courses, maintaining training records and tracking compliance, including GDPR and Health & Safety training.
  • Assist with office management by monitoring and ordering office supplies, refreshments and other workplace essentials.
  • Create engaging posters, presentations and internal communications using Canva and Microsoft Office.
  • Help organise employee engagement initiatives, competitions, wellbeing activities and company events.
  • Support recruitment and onboarding activities when required.
  • Assist with sustainability projects and help bring new ideas to life across the business.
  • Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotes and coordinate purchases where required.
  • Provide general administrative support across the MAP Team, ensuring a consistently organised and professional approach.

Skills We Love

  • Exceptional organisation skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • A positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.
  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner.
  • Strong administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience using Canva, or an interest in creating engaging visual content.
  • A genuine interest in HR, people and employee engagement.
  • An interest in learning more about training, development and compliance would be a real bonus.
  • The ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • A collaborative, team-focused approach with a willingness to get stuck in wherever needed.

Working Hours & Location

This is a part-time position, offering approximately 15–25 hours per week.

We're very flexible and happy to discuss a working pattern that suits both you and the business. Ideally, we'd love someone who can work shorter shifts across several days each week, but we're open to finding the right arrangement for the right person.

You'll be based at our Sheriff Hutton office (YO60 6PG), so access to your own transport is essential.

You'll also visit our Scunthorpe Distribution Centre (approximately once a week) and may occasionally have the opportunity to travel to our Venlo warehouse in the Netherlands. All business travel expenses will be reimbursed.
