Are you an Ophthalmology Nurse, trained and experienced in giving Intravitreal Injections ?

Would you like your next role to be something a little bit different, flexible, exciting and challenging?

Do you want to be part of a specialist support programme for patients?

If so this might be just the role you are looking for ……

Apodi are currently recruiting for Specialist IVI Injectors who will be responsible for delivering a Support Programme. Do you have 1 or 2 days a week free and can work in Yeovil, Taunton or Bournemouth?

The programme will primarily provide support & complimentary on-site services to existing Trust Medical Retinal Teams. This includes the provision of a dedicated Injection Service to support the initiation of patients including the delivery of intravitreal injections:

· Where a site/ Trust has an identified backlog of patients waiting for IVI treatment, to assist in the delivery of IVI alongside Trust HCP’s, to assist in reducing capacity.

· To provide respite for existing nurses who are burdened by an excessive intravitreal injection schedule.

· To offer training, education, & support to Trust HCPs in terms of the product administration, product information (including regarding changes in SMPC guidance and indications), tailored to the needs of the Trust.

The role is field based and we are looking for nurses who live in South West England and are prepared to commute to either Yeovil, Taunton or Bournemouth.
