Full job description

Support workers play a crucial role in providing care, assistance, and support to individuals who are dealing with barriers due to their mental health wellbeing. When recruiting for this position, we are looking for candidates who possess empathy, good communication skills, patience, and the ability to work effectively in a team. We are looking for support workers in the SF17 area.

Candidates with a strong background experience or qualifications in health and social care, particularly in the area of psychological disorders are ideal for this role.

Do you have the necessary skills:

1. Empathy and compassion: The ability to understand and empathise with the challenges faced by individuals with mental health issues.
2. Strong communication skills: The ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
3. Patience and resilience: The capacity to remain calm and patient in challenging situations and to handle stress effectively.
4. Teamwork: The ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to clients.
5. Problem-solving skills: The ability to assess situations, identify needs, and develop appropriate solutions to support clients.

6. Qualifications in care, psychology or health and social care.
