THE ROLE:
The New Look creative team is a dynamic and fast paced department focused on producing high quality imagery and content for the New Look Brand. This role will be key in the production of high-quality imagery used across all New Look channels working on images from campaigns, still life shoots and social shoots.
This role is for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a proven ability to deliver flawless, high-resolution image retouching — including cleanup, masking, enhancement, plate changes and product colour matching — while leveraging emerging AI technologies to improve workflow efficiency and creativity.
This role is based from our London Office 4 days a week

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- High- Quality Retouching: Deliver consistent, high-quality retouching aligned with New Look guidelines, ensuring accurate colour matching, ability to correctly interpret re touch notes and carry these out across multiple images for both print and digital use.
- Technical Development: Continuously develop and expand technical capabilities within related software to support and enhance daily production workflows.
- Technical Ability: Deliver a wide range of image types while maintaining consistent art direction. Follow established product colour-matching processes with precision. Execute: Image extensions, Resizing for multiple formats, Plate amendments, Print and digital file preparation
- Technical Knowledge: Demonstrate a strong understanding of: Studio and natural lighting principles, Colour theory and colour management and Image composition and visual balance
- Attention to detail: To ensure all consistent re touch comments are made, matching colour back grounds across multiple images and across both print and digital formats.
- AI Innovation Awareness: Stay up to date with the latest AI innovations and tools, sharing knowledge and exploring opportunities to further enhance retouching quality and workflow efficiency.
- Performance & Targets: Consistently meet or exceed daily production targets and SLA expectations while upholding quality standards.
- Communication & Collaboration: Maintain clear communication with the production manager and creative services manager, proactively flagging errors, workflow challenges, or process bottlenecks to support smooth studio operations.
- Quality Control & Asset Management: Maintain a keen eye for detail, ensuring retouched imagery meets QC standards while keeping to daily SLA and critical path.
- Workflow Management & Process Support: Prioritise daily workloads effectively while supporting departmental processes, KPIs, and continuous improvements to ensure efficient, on-brand output.
- Teamwork & Culture: Maintain a positive, proactive attitude and contribute as a strong team player in a fast-paced studio environment.
- Proven experience retouching across a variety of image types, including Campaign imagery, Studio / eCommerce photography.
- Ability to deliver high-quality assets for both print and digital use.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Capture One, and Microsoft 365 on Mac OS.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to deliver consistently high-quality, campaign-level imagery.
- Confident use of: Wacom tablets, non-destructive retouching workflows.
- Advanced understanding of: Colour correction and grading, Colour matching across multiple assets and Colour profile management (sRGB, Adobe RGB, CMYK.)
- Experience building automation tools, including Photoshop Actions and workflow processes. Working knowledge of AI-powered tools (e.g. Adobe Firefly). Ability to integrate AI into workflows while maintaining brand and quality standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organised with strong multitasking and time-management abilities; confident working to deadlines in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
