About the role
Vision RT is seeking a Medical Physicist to join the team as a Clinical Applications Physicist, supporting customers in UK/EIRE. This home‑based role combines technical expertise with commercial and customer-facing activities, including pre‑sales support, product demonstrations, training and clinical testing. You will work closely with the sales and clinical team, product owners, R&D, and clinical partners to drive product adoption, gather structured feedback, and support ongoing product development. The role involves significant regional travel and offers the opportunity to influence product success by generating clinical data/studies/publications
Key responsibilities will include
- Sales & Pre‑Sales Support
- Support Regional Sales Managers with pre‑sales activities, including product presentations to prospective customers.
- Assist with product demonstrations at customer sites, exhibitions, seminars, and trade shows.
- Assist with tender process and submission
- Training & Education
- Clinical training: Provide customer the on-site support and clinical training within a scope of “going live” clinical training and commissioning
- Work with Clinical specialist and lead on areas such as commissioning, scripting, research model and publications
- Assist with clinical testing of new software and product releases across a wide range of clinical scenarios.
- Provide structured feedback and analysis to R&D to support product development and future improvements.
- Ongoing Support
- Ensure full training and certification across all Vision RT products to maintain the required level of expert support.
- Support the clinical team with technical input and lead certain projects particularly DoseRT and MapRT
- Travel up to 75-80% of working time.
- Occasional weekend work and travel as required.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Medical Physicist certification or equivalent academic qualification (BSc, MSc, etc)
- 3 or more years of clinical experience in radiotherapy
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, either at conferences or for commercial.

Desirable Skills & Experience
- Technical skills either with software (Python, C#, C++, C, VDHL, FPGA) or Windows OS /Software.

- Involved in working groups at ESTRO/ASTRO
