The Role

You will be teaching Science at secondary level using the IB curriculum, preferably specialising in either Chemistry or Physics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and enjoyment with a strong focus on student well-being.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to ensure student success.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities.
  • Maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and the wider school community, demonstrating cultural sensitivity.

Requirements

  • Bachelors / Post-graduate studies in education / relevant teaching subject.
  • Valid teaching licence / current teaching registration preferably from Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, UK, US or Canada (e.g. VIT, QTS).
  • Minimum 2 years of post-qualification teaching experience at relevant age range.
  • Experience within the IB curriculum is advantageous.
  • Previous international teaching experience, particularly within the Middle East context, would be an advantage.
  • Dynamic and creative approach to teaching and motivating students.
  • Flexibility and resilience required to work in a team at fast growing schools.
