Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Administrator to join our busy GP practice team. This is a varied role supporting both reception and dispensary functions, providing essential front-line service to our patients and assisting with administrative duties.

You will be the first point of contact for patients and play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.

Responsibilities

  • Greeting patients and visitors in a professional, friendly manner
  • Answering telephone calls and handling patient queries
  • Booking and managing appointments
  • Updating patient records accurately
  • General administrative tasks, including filing and scanning etiquette

Dispensary Support:

  • Assisting with preparation of prescriptions (training provided)
  • Handling prescription requests and queries
  • Maintaining accurate records in line with procedures
