Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and compassionate Registered Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential care home . The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in care management including dementia and mental health care care. This leadership role requires exceptional team management skills, a strong understanding of medical procedures, and a dedication to delivering outstanding service to residents and their families. The Registered Manager will ensure compliance with regulatory standards, manage staff performance, and promote a safe, caring environment for all individuals under our care.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the healthcare team to ensure high-quality resident care.
  • Oversee the implementation of electronic care plans, including medication administration, liaising with the multi-discilinary team and relatives
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and organisational policies.
  • Manage staffing rota, recruitment processes, and staff training programmes to maintain a motivated and skilled workforce..
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents’ families while providing updates on care progress.
  • Coordinate case management activities to optimise individualised support plans for residents.
  • Oversee health and safety procedures within the facility to ensure a secure environment for residents and staff.
  • Organise audits and inspections to uphold quality standards in in the care setting
  • Promote continuous improvement initiatives

Skills

  • Proven experience in a management role within a residential care setting. Proven experience of mental health care is essential too.
  • Strong background in managing teams within healthcare settings with supervising experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of resident care practices including medication administration, care planning, risk assessing
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills for liaising with residents’ families, staff members, healthcare professionals, and regulatory bodies.
  • Demonstrated leadership in case management and managing complex healthcare cases.
  • Familiarity with working in environments requiring adherence to strict health and safety standards.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances within a dynamic healthcare setting. This role offers an opportunity for an accomplished healthcare professional committed to delivering compassionate resident-centred services while leading a dedicated team in a supportive environment.
