Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Practice Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, supporting the medical staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of our practice.

Duties

  • Wound care
  • Smears
  • Adult & child immunisations
  • Chronic disease management (Diabetes, Asthma, Hypertension)
  • Ear Syringing
  • Phlebotomy

Skills

  • Level 6 Diploma or equivalent.
  • Qualifications and experience in chronic disease management, including: Diabetes, COPD, Asthma.
  • Wound care
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Experience using clinical systems, preferably SystmOne.
  • Empathy and compassion towards patients.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Knowledge of current healthcare practices, policies, and regulations.
