A bit about the role

We're looking for a Senior SCM Consultant to join our growing Supply Chain & Procurement team. This role is for someone with strong hands‑on SAP MM experience who also brings working knowledge across connected areas such as PP, WM/EWM, IM and SD, and who is ready to take ownership as the primary consultant on projects or workstreams within a blended supply chain landscape.

You'll work with a variety of clients, industries, and technology landscapes — including S/4HANA programmes — running workshops independently, owning solution elements across connected modules, and starting to mentor less experienced colleagues in a supportive, collaborative environment.

What you'll be doing

Key tasks and responsibilities of this role will include:

• Acting as the primary functional consultant on SAP SCM workstreams — MM‑led, with integration into PP, WM/EWM, IM and SD — across project and support engagements.
• Owning configuration and solution design for core P2P and inventory processes, with working knowledge of adjacent planning, warehouse and sales‑order processes.
• Independently running and leading functional workshops to gather and validate business requirements across procurement and connected supply chain areas.
• Managing and resolving complex incidents, escalations and change requests within the AMS function.
• Participating in SAP S/4HANA and ECC project delivery, including implementations, migrations and upgrades.
• Leading data migration activities for materials, vendors and inventory, including design and validation.
• Producing and reviewing functional documentation, specifications and test scripts.
• Providing mentoring, guidance and knowledge‑sharing to junior consultants.
• Identifying and proposing process improvements to help clients maximise value across their SAP supply chain landscape.
• Supporting cross‑module integration activities across MM, PP, WM/EWM, IM, SD and FI/CO.

What we want from you

• Solid hands‑on SAP MM experience across core P2P and inventory processes, ideally with working exposure to PP, WM/EWM, IM or SD.
• Experience working as the primary or lead consultant on a workstream, project or support engagement.
• Good understanding of cross‑module integration across a blended supply chain landscape.
• Confidence running client workshops independently and translating requirements into solution designs.
• Experience with data migration tools such as Migration Cockpit, LSMW, CATT or DMI.
• Some exposure to coaching or mentoring less experienced consultants.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• S/4HANA experience desirable; knowledge of Fiori and EDI/IDoc processes advantageous.
