Sulzer’s Leeds facility is a global centre of excellence for advanced design and manufacturing, specialising in OEM pump technology and engineered solutions for critical industrial applications. This site brings together cutting-edge engineering capability, digital design, and high-precision manufacturing, supporting sectors such as energy, water, chemicals, and infrastructure.

With significant recent investment, our Leeds operations are evolving rapidly—enhancing our capabilities in advanced machining, digital engineering, testing, and product innovation. • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring strong relationships and clear communication

  • Drive project planning, scheduling, risk management, and cost control

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including design engineering, production, procurement, and quality

  • Ensure compliance with contractual, technical, and regulatory requirements

  • Identify and manage risks and opportunities, implementing mitigation strategies

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager within engineering, manufacturing, or OEM environments

  • Strong knowledge of complex mechanical equipment, ideally pumps or rotating equipment

  • Demonstrated experience delivering high-value, technically complex projects

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

  • Strong commercial awareness, including budget control and contract management

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment

  • Project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP) desirable
