Full job description

Living Well Consortium (LWC) is recruiting for a Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to support the delivery of our Talking Therapies service.

Living Well Consortium is a network of third sector mental health organisations working collectively to support the mental health and wellbeing of people across Birmingham and Solihull. The organisation has secured contracts to deliver psychological support to people across this area through the NHS Talking Therapies (NHS TT) programme.

The post holder will support a team of triage, psychological wellbeing, and clinical practitioners (including Trainees), providing clinical guidance, supervision, and case management to enhance their practice and professional development. Furthermore, they will also line manage a small team of practitioners.

The Senior PWP will contribute to the efficiency and quality of LWC services, supporting with the allocation process, audits, and monitoring of the service. They will work alongside Clinical Leads and other Senior PWPs within LWC to ensure the continuous development of processes and performance.

Successful candidates must be qualified PWPs and supervisors with experience working as a PWP in a primary care setting. They should be an energetic and committed practitioner with an compassionate approach to management and client support.

Terms and Conditions

  • Working hours: 37.5 hours per week
  • Salary: £35,323.35 pro rata per annum
  • Fixed term for 12 months
  • Hybrid working (at least one day per week working on site)
