As Night Receptionist, you will act as the primary Front Office contact overnight, delivering a warm, professional and personalised service to all guests while ensuring the smooth running of the hotel during night hours. Working closely with the Night Manager, you will manage guest arrivals and departures, respond to requests and maintain a calm, reassuring presence at the Front Desk at all times, thriving as a service‑focused professional who enjoys working independently and is passionate about creating exceptional guest experiences within a luxury hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and acknowledge guests warmly and professionally during overnight hours
- Manage late arrivals and early departures, ensuring a seamless and personalised experience
- Respond promptly to guest requests, enquiries and concerns with professionalism and care
- Operate the telephone switchboard, handling calls, messages and wake‑up requests
- Provide accurate information about hotel services, facilities and the local area
- Maintain a visible and reassuring presence at the Front Desk throughout the night
- Handle basic administrative and reporting tasks to support overnight operations
- Monitor the hotel environment and report any incidents or concerns to the Night Manager
- Prepare clear and accurate handover notes for the morning Front Office team
- Work collaboratively with housekeeping, security and other departments to ensure smooth operations
- Uphold all company policies, service standards and brand expectations at all times

- Previous experience in Front Office or guest‑facing roles, ideally within a luxury hotel
- Strong understanding of guest service and reception operations
