We have x2 Receptionist opportunities available to join our team based at Bath Road Surgery - Reading.


Position Details:


Receptionist Position 1


  • £13.04 per hour (£25,495 per annum, pro rata)
  • 20 hours per week
  • Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 09:00am 13:00pm


Receptionist Position 2


  • £13.04 per hour (£25,495 per annum, pro rata)
  • 20 hours per week
  • Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 13:00pm 17:00pm


Key Responsibilities


This role will provide a professional and welcoming reception service by managing enquiries, supporting visitors and handling telephone calls efficiently. It will coordinate appointments, room bookings and mail, maintain accurate administrative and compliance records, and ensure reception and public areas are clean, organised and wellpresented. The role will also support facilities management by logging maintenance issues, managing keys and security passes, supervising the car park when required, and administering company systems and databases. Additionally, it will undertake general administrative tasks, respond to alarm calls and assist with resolving or escalating complaints in line with company procedures.


What We're Looking For


  • Previous customer service or reception experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A professional, friendly and approachable manner.
  • Ability to remain calm and supportive when dealing with queries or challenging situations.
  • Some flexibility to provide additional cover on occasion, where possible.
