Overview

Join our 8 surgery private specialist referral practice as a Dental Receptionist, where your energetic and welcoming attitude will set the tone for a positive patient experience. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring smooth scheduling, efficient administrative operations, and excellent customer service. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute to the overall success of our Specialist Referral Practice, creating a friendly environment where patients feel cared for from the moment they walk through the door.

Duties

  • Greet patients warmly and professionally, establishing a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
  • Manage appointment scheduling efficiently using dental office management software.
  • Verify patient insurance information and process payments accurately.
  • Answer incoming calls promptly, providing information and directing inquiries appropriately.
  • Maintain organized patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Coordinate with dental staff to confirm appointments and prepare patient charts for upcoming procedures.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as filing, emailing, and managing correspondence to keep the front desk running smoothly.

Experience

  • At least 4 years dental reception experience, demonstrating familiarity with administrative procedures.
  • Proven administrative experience with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, staff, and insurance providers.
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
  • Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
