Job Overview
Our client is seeking a dedicated and personable Patient Experience Co-ordinator to join their healthcare team. This role is essential in ensuring patients receive exceptional service and support throughout their healthcare journey. The successful candidate will act as a primary point of contact, facilitating smooth communication between patients and clinical staff, and enhancing overall patient satisfaction. Duties

  • Act as the first point of contact for patients, providing friendly and professional assistance both in person and via telephone or email.
  • Manage patient appointments, ensuring schedules are organised efficiently and accurately.
  • Assist patients with administrative processes, including registration, documentation, and billing procedures.
  • Coordinate communication between patients and healthcare providers to ensure timely updates and follow-ups.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, feedback, and concerns to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support the delivery of a welcoming environment that prioritises patient comfort and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to streamline patient flow and optimise service delivery.
  • Handle patient enquiries with empathy and professionalism, resolving issues promptly where possible.

Experience

  • Previous office experience is desirable, demonstrating strong organisational skills and proficiency in administrative tasks.
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting or customer service environment is advantageous but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse patient populations.
  • Organised with attention to detail, capable of managing multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Ability to work well within a team while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
