Full job description

Do you want to be part of a growing business where the patient comes first?

UK Vein Care is one of the UK's leading providers of specialist varicose vein treatments and part of Nordic Health Group, Europe's largest network of dedicated vein clinics. We deliver high-quality, medically sound treatments through a modern, patient-centred experience - helping patients improve their quality of life through safe, effective outpatient procedures across our +60 clinics in 5 countries.

We are now looking for a dedicated part-time receptionist to cover our clinic in Preston, with the flexibility to also work at our clinics in Manchester, West Yorkshire, and Carlisle as and when needed.

As a receptionist, you are often the first and last person our patients meet at the clinic. Your most important task is therefore to welcome our patients, put them at ease, and make sure they feel well looked after throughout their visit with us.

The role includes, among other things:

  • Welcoming and looking after patients

  • Helping patients settle in and guiding them through their visit

  • Booking and administering patient appointments

  • Recording and ensuring accurate information in our patient records system

  • Handling payments and practical queries

  • Capturing the patient experience, and gathering feedback and reviews

  • Helping the clinic feel welcoming and organised, and run smoothly throughout the day

What we offer:

  • Independent and varied work with freedom to take responsibility

  • A flexible part-time role that can be combined with studies or other work

  • Competitive pay and good working conditions

  • A warm and professional working environment with dedicated, skilled colleagues

  • The opportunity to work across several of our clinics and get to know different parts of the business

  • Meaningful work where you contribute to a better experience for our patients every day

What we expect from you:

  • Fluent spoken and written English

  • Sociable, service-minded, and enjoy meeting people

  • Reliable, responsible, and confident in your work

  • Thrive in a dynamic clinic environment with many patients

  • Able to work independently and proactively to optimise and improve daily processes

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.

Employment type: Hourly contract, with variable hours (approximately 3–4 shifts per month, with additional cover as needed).

For questions about the role, please contact Andreas Persson at ap@nordichealthgroup.com
