Full job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated part-time (19.5 hours per week) individual to join our friendly Patient Services Team at Garstang Medical Practice.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and rewarding GP practice role where no two days are the same. You will play an important part in helping patients access the care and support they need, while ensuring that appointments, patient requests and clinical information are managed safely, accurately and efficiently.

As a key member of our Patient Services Team, you will work across both patient-facing and clinical administrative functions, using a range of systems and processes to support patients, clinicians and colleagues in delivering a safe, efficient and high-quality service.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with patients, communicates well, are organised and accurate, and can remain calm and professional in a busy environment. You will need to be comfortable using digital systems, managing competing priorities and taking responsibility for ensuring work is progressed appropriately.

The shift pattern is:

Thursday 7.45am-6.30pm & Friday 7.45am-6.30pm (19.5 hours)
