We're looking for a Receptionist - Mobile to join our team based at Longsight Health Centre, Manchester. This role will also provide mobile reception support across the surrounding area. You'll be responsible for delivering an excellent front-of-house service and helping to create a welcoming, safe, and supportive environment for patients, visitors, and colleagues. Through your day-to-day interactions, you'll play an important role in shaping the experience people have when visiting our healthcare facilities.

Role Details

  • Location: Longsight Health Centre, Manchester (with travel to surrounding sites as required)
  • Salary: £13.04 per hour
  • Hours: 30 hours per week
  • Working Pattern: Monday to Thursday, 08:30am to 4:30pm
  • DBS: Standard DBS Check required

What you'll be doing

As the first point of contact for many visitors, you'll play an important role in creating a positive experience for everyone who enters the building.

You'll:

  • Welcome patients, visitors and contractors in a professional and friendly manner
  • Respond to enquiries in person, over the telephone and via email
  • Support visitor sign-in processes and provide accurate information
  • Coordinate room bookings and appointments where required
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail
  • Complete a range of administrative tasks and maintain accurate records
  • Help ensure reception and public areas remain tidy, welcoming and well-presented
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an excellent customer experience
  • Provide holiday cover when required


What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who:

  • Can manage a variety of tasks and enquiries throughout the day

  • Works well both independently and as part of a team
  • Has basic administrative and IT skills


Previous reception experience is beneficial, but we're equally interested in people with transferable customer service and administration skills.
