Overview

ROLE A: Monday (BOA) 12:45-18:15, Wednesday (BOA) 7:45-13:00, Thursday (Frome) 7:45-12:15, Friday (Frome) 7:45-12:15, Saturday (1 in 2 - BOA/Frome) 8:45-12:30

ROLE B: Monday (BOA) 7:45-13:00, Tuesday (BOA) 12:45-18:15, Friday (BOA) 7:45-13:00, Saturday (1 in 2 - BOA/Frome) 8:45-12:30

Working across our Bradford on Avon and Frome clinics, you'll ensure every patient receives a warm, friendly and efficient experience from the moment they contact us.

This is a varied and fast-paced role that requires excellent customer service alongside strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to confidently manage multiple priorities. You'll be trusted to follow established processes accurately while working both independently and as part of a supportive team. Flexibility in working hours and a professional attitude are essential for this position.

Duties

  • Welcoming patients in person and over the phone
  • Booking, amending and managing appointments
  • Responding to enquiries about our services
  • Processing payments and completing end-of-day reconciliations
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records
  • Supporting the clinical team to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the clinics
  • Following clinic procedures and administrative processes accurately and consistently
  • Assisting with general administrative tasks
  • Providing annual leave and sickness cover across our clinics where possible

Experience

We're looking for someone who is friendly, dependable, organised and genuinely enjoys providing excellent customer service.

ESSENTIAL

  • At least 2 years' experience in a receptionist, administrative or customer-facing role where organisation, accuracy and multitasking were key responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, email systems and cloud-based software.
  • Able to remain calm, organised and professional in a busy environment.
  • Comfortable following established systems, procedures and checklists consistently.
  • A positive team player who treats colleagues with kindness, respect and professionalism.
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

DESIRABLE

  • Reception experience within a healthcare, medical, allied health or wellbeing setting.
  • Experience using appointment booking or practice management software.
  • Experience working in a busy clinical or service-based environment.
