Job Overview

Vacancy is for a part time receptionist at the Albany Medical Centre , weight loss clinic in Pontypridd town centre , you will need a welcoming presence as you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors. Duties

  • Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing a friendly and professional first impression
  • Manage appointment scheduling efficiently using clinic software, confirming bookings and updating records
  • Answer incoming phone calls promptly, directing inquiries to the appropriate staff or departments
  • Handle patient check-in and check-out processes with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Maintain organized reception area, ensuring all informational materials are current and accessible
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence
  • Support clinic staff with light administrative duties to ensure seamless daily operations
  • From time to time be willing to provide reception cover at our Newport clinic

Experience

  • Previous office or administrative experience is preferred, demonstrating strong organizational skills
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting is a plus but not required; training will be provided
  • Excellent communication skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
  • Proficiency with basic office software and clinic management systems is advantageous
