Front of House | Yorkshire Dental Suite Wakefield

Location: 12 Westgate, Wakefield, WF1 1JY
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Saturday | 1 weekday off
Shift Patterns: 8:30am–5:00pm or 9:00am–6:30pm

About the Role

Yorkshire Dental Suite is looking for a friendly, professional and organised Front of House team member to join our Wakefield clinic.

You’ll be the first point of contact for our patients, so we’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people and takes pride in creating a warm, welcoming and professional experience from the moment someone walks through the door.

This is a fast paced role where no two days are quite the same. You’ll work closely with our wider clinic team to ensure everything runs smoothly and our patients receive an exceptional level of service.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Welcoming patients into the clinic and providing a warm, professional first impression
  • Managing the reception area and ensuring the clinic always looks its best
  • Booking and managing patient appointments
  • Answering calls, emails and patient enquiries
  • Checking patients in and out of their appointments
  • Taking payments and handling basic administrative tasks
  • Supporting the clinical and wider team with day to day clinic operations
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and information
  • Helping to create an exceptional patient journey from start to finish

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Friendly, approachable and confident when speaking to people
  • Professional and well presented
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a busy, customer focused environment
  • Confident using computer systems and learning new software
  • A great communicator who can build rapport quickly
  • Reliable, proactive and able to work as part of a team

Previous experience in reception, hospitality, customer service, healthcare, dental or a similar patient facing environment would be beneficial, but personality and attitude are just as important.

The Hours

This is a Monday to Saturday position, with one weekday off each week.

You'll work one of the following shift patterns:

8:30am–5:00pm
or
9:00am–6:30pm
