We're looking for a *FULL-TIME* Receptionist/ Front of house to join our team at Thornton Dental and Implant Centre (CR7 7JD), a leading dental clinic located in Thornton Heath, London offering both private and NHS services. Our highly skilled team specializes in cosmetic dentistry, general dental care, implants, and oral hygiene. Our mission is to help our patients maintain a beautiful, healthy smile through personalized, high-quality care, with a professional, social and collaborative team dedicated to delivering the best possible outcome.

Our practice is currently undergoing an exciting rebranding and a full surgery revamp in the coming months, so it's the perfect time to join the team and be part of the exciting changes coming up.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to answering phones, scheduling appointments, filing documents, and data entry. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Although experience is preferred, we will offer training on the job.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Greet and direct visitors and patients.
  • Answer incoming calls and emails in a professional manner.
  • Schedule appointments.
  • Take payments.
  • Organise files, records, and documents.

Ideal key skills:

  • Confident and friendly on reception
  • Computer & IT literate (microsoft word, gmail)
  • Articulate and fluent in the English Language (both written and spoken)
  • Confident, calm under pressure and able to multitask
  • A team player
  • Well organised and attention to detail.
  • Able to work on their own initiative
  • Have previous experience working in a front of house/customer service/ reception/ admin role.
  • Great customer service, able to put the patient first and go above and beyond where possible.
  • Polite and professional on calls.
  • Able to confidently take payments, use card machines and cash up.

Desirable attributes:

  • Previous Experience working with diary management software.
  • Previous experience working in a reception role using Software of Excellence Exact.
  • Previous experience working in a dental practice or some working knowledge of the dental industry

Schedule:

  • This position requires you to work four days during the week between Monday- Friday, and every Saturday. The exact days of the week can be discussed at interview.

  • Monday- Thursday (9am-6pm)
  • Friday (9am-4:30pm)
  • Saturday (9am-1pm)
