Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Health Assistant to join our team. This role involves supporting healthcare professionals and providing excellent service to clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, organisational abilities, and a friendly demeanour. Fluency in multiple languages, including English and Spanish, is highly desirable to effectively serve diverse communities. Responsibilities

  • Assist healthcare professionals with patient check-ins and administrative tasks
  • Manage social media accounts to promote health programmes and community engagement
  • Provide information and support to clients in both English and Spanish, ensuring clear communication
  • Handle phone enquiries with professionalism and courtesy, adhering to proper phone etiquette
  • Support organisational tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records
  • Engage in upselling health services or products where appropriate, promoting additional programmes or merchandise
  • Manage social media content, including posts related to health awareness campaigns and community events
  • Maintain a clean, organised workspace and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information

Qualifications

  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish is highly advantageous
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Organised with excellent time management abilities
  • Basic maths skills for handling simple data entry and transactions
  • Experience with social media management is preferred but not essential; training will be provided if necessary
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
  • Good phone etiquette and customer service skills
  • Multilingual capabilities are considered a significant asset for engaging with diverse populations
