Full job description

Craiglockhart Medical Group is a 9 GP training practice in South-West Edinburgh based in the modern, purpose built, Allermuir Health Centre.

We are looking for a Medical Receptionist to come and join our friendly team.

This post is permanent and the role holder will play a critical part in ensuring our patients are provided with excellent care. It includes managing our busy reception area; dealing with patient requests and queries; helping ensure prescriptions are available when needed and ensuring patient results are managed well.

Whilst previous experience in a medical setting would be helpful, it's not necessary provided you can bring the right skills but previous admin experience and an ability to work under pressure is essential. You will need good people skills, be organized and hard working and work well as part of a team.

  • 24 hours - Wednesday 1:00-6:00pm, Thursday 8:00-6:00pm and Friday 8:00-6:00pm
