Full job description

Job Purpose

To provide administrative and clerical support to the Director of Admissions and Marketing team to ensure the smooth running of MNCC Admission and Discharge process.

This role is Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week.

Role/Duties:

  • To communicate effectively with the Director of Admissions and marketing, the Director of Therapy, the Therapy Heads of Department, and all other departments in MNCC, including the Senior Management Team (SMT).
  • To provide secretarial and administrative support to the Director of Admissions and Marketing and support with maintaining departmental data.
  • To be the first point of call for all initial and general admissions and discharge enquiries, updating the referrals and enquiries spreadsheet with any changes or updates on a daily basis.
  • To ensure efficient communications are maintained with relevant internal/external organisations and professionals.
  • To support the Director of Admissions and Marketing with scheduling pre-assessments face to face and virtual.
  • Follow the admissions process with patient admissions, liaising with internal and external departments, patients and families.
  • To prepare documentation for pre-assessments including all referral information for the relevant Senior Nursing or Therapy Manager.
  • Arrange virtual tours for potential admissions.
  • To organise and maintain the department’s Outlook calendar and inbox, responding to emails where necessary.
  • To provide general secretarial support to the department i.e. minute taking, filing, printing and photocopying.
  • Monitor resident report due dates, liaising with Unit Managers and Unit Clerks to ensure the reports arrive to the ICB’s on time, chasing essential urgent reports/documentation when required.
