Dental Receptionist/Patient Care Coordinator

Location: Salford, Greater Manchester

Full Time | Permanent | Monday to Friday (No Weekends)

Salary: £13.00–£13.65 per hour depending on qualifications and experience, plus bonus scheme and funded training opportunities.

The Role

As a Dental receptionist/ Patient Care Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of the patient journey. From the first phone call to welcoming patients into the practice, you'll play a key role in ensuring every patient receives a warm, professional and seamless experience.

Your Responsibilities

  • Welcoming patients and creating a positive first impression
  • Answering telephone calls and responding to enquiries with professionalism and care
  • Booking and managing appointments efficiently
  • Supporting patients with forms, payments and treatment enquiries
  • Maintaining accurate patient records using our dental software systems
  • Liaising with clinicians and the wider team to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Helping patients feel informed, reassured and valued throughout their journey with us
  • Supporting practice growth through excellent customer service and patient communication

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Previous experience in a customer service, reception or front-of-house role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Confidence using computers and learning new systems
  • A positive, proactive and professional attitude

Desirable

  • Previous dental reception experience
  • Qualified GDC-registered Dental Nurse looking for a reception-based role
  • Experience using dental software systems
  • Knowledge of appointment scheduling and patient administration

Salary & Benefits
