Job Summary

Working 4 days per week in our Louth Hub Location (some weekends required).

To be the first port of call for those patients that contact us though telephone and email. proactive in giving our customers a friendly welcome and an exceptional customer experience, sharing a passion for the Specsavers brand, our products, services and offers.

At Specsavers we are passionate about our people and their development. You will receive thorough and continued training and development to enhance your understanding of Audiological services, so previous Audiology experience is not always necessary, but a passion for fantastic customer service is a must!

You will be a key part in creating a warm and friendly atmosphere and an outstanding store environment both for our customers and our team.

Your role

· Working as part of a small admin team.

· Personalise conversations with customers to meet individual needs and preferences.

· Confidently talk to customers about the customer journey for, Audiology and Domiciliary and able to refer customers to the best service for their needs.

· Able to understand and speak to customers about basic Audiology issues and hearing aids.

· Able to book and change customer appointments on the in-store computer system.

. Have an eye for detail and put anything right that you come across that is not quite perfect.

· Undertake any ad hoc duties as directed by the Directors or Management Team

· Ensure any reporting and administration you are tasked with is completed accurately and on time.

· Using a caring and knowledgeable approach, build relationships with customers so they feel comfortable and want to come back time and again.

· Take an active approach to developing your Audiology product and services knowledge through attending company training and personal development to become an expert in these areas.

· Understand and apply NHS practices and procedures.

· Act as an ambassador for Specsavers at all times.

Desirable Skills

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment.
  • Previous Administrative experience.
  • Previous experience in optics or Audiology businesses.
  • Basic knowledge/ experience of optical and/or Audiology terminology.
  • Previous experience in a clinical environment.
