We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental receptionist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the dental team in delivering high-quality services. As a Dental Nurse, you will be responsible for assisting during dental procedures, ensuring the comfort of patients, and maintaining a sterile environment.

Duties

  • Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and ready for use.
  • Provide excellent patient care by reassuring and supporting patients before, during, and after treatments.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is completed in accordance with practice protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control procedures.
  • Manage appointment schedules efficiently to optimise patient flow and minimise waiting times.
  • Communicate effectively with patients
  • Assist in the management of stock levels of dental supplies and equipment, ensuring that all materials are available when needed.
  • Participate in continuous professional development to stay updated

Qualifications

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills in English to interact confidently with patients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in IT systems relevant to dental practice management is advantageous.
  • A caring attitude towards patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding at all times.
