Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Administrative Assistant to join our expanding team. This role involves providing essential administrative support within a busy medical practice, ensuring smooth daily operations and excellent patient service. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a compassionate approach to patient interactions. Previous office experience and administrative expertise are highly desirable for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Managing patient appointments and scheduling consultations efficiently
  • Greeting patients warmly and assisting with check-in procedures
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records in electronic health systems
  • Handling incoming calls, messages, and correspondence professionally
  • Processing billing, insurance claims, and payments accurately
  • Coordinating with medical staff to ensure timely flow of information and documentation
  • Organising administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management
  • Supporting the team with general office duties to promote a welcoming environment
