Job Summary

Who we are

At Via, our mission is to provide the best health and wellbeing support to as many people as possible, helping them to change their lives for the better.

Last year, we supported over 11,000 people across the UK affected by alcohol and drug use. Everything we do is driven by our values:

  • Care. Care for people is at the heart of everything we do.
  • Be human. We are accessible, genuine and humble. Always learning.
  • Do the right thing. We’re open, honest and inclusive. We get things done.

We want to recruit the very best talent. We believe in nurturing a positive workplace culture where our colleagues feel valued, recognised, empowered, and supported.

What we’re looking for

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced and growing organisation.

We’re looking for Full-time Clinical Administrator for our Gloucestershire Service to join our team and support the smooth and efficient delivery of our clinical prescribing service. This role is crucial in maintaining the day-to-day operations that ensure our clients receive timely, safe, and effective care. While predominantly based in our Gloucester Hub, you may be required to travel to our Cheltenham and Stroud Hubs to provide cover as and when needed.

You'll be responsible for tasks such as:

Managing clinical stock and prescription paperwork, coordinating with GPs and pharmacies, generating and voiding prescriptions, writing letters to GPs and assisting with audits to support quality and compliance.

We're looking for someone who is compassionate, organised and accurate, with strong communication and IT skills, the ability to manage competing priorities and the confidence to remain calm under pressure.

Experience in administration, reception, customer service, health or social care, or services supporting people with a range of needs would be valuable. You should be comfortable handling sensitive information, working as part of a multidisciplinary team and using digital case-management systems.

Deadline: 20 August 2026 at midnight

Salary: £26,618 per annum

Vacancy type: Permanent, full time

Our Area Manager, is happy to talk through this role, what a typical day might look like, development opportunities, and Via’s national network. You can reach Rae Davies on rae.davies@viaorg.uk
