Full job description

We are seeking a full-time Dental Receptionist to join our busy NHS and Private Dental practice. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a friendly, professional, and supportive team dedicated to providing outstanding patient care.

About the Role

The successful candidate will play a key role in the smooth day-to-day running of the practice, including:

  • Managing and maintaining clinicians' appointment diaries
  • Handling patient enquiries and correspondence by telephone and email
  • Welcoming patients and providing excellent customer service
  • Carrying out general administrative and reception duties as required

Working Hours

  • 37.75 hours per week
  • Monday to Thursday: Between 7:45am and 6:30pm (7.75 hours per day)
  • Friday: 7:45am – 4:30pm

Occasional Saturday shifts may be required:

  • Saturday: 8:45am – 2:30pm
  • Paid at an enhanced overtime rate

About You

  • Previous reception or customer service experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong computer skills are essential.
  • A professional, organised, and friendly approach to patient care.
