Home Instead is the leader in specialised care, founded on personal experience we provide high quality care and companionship services for older people.

We are currently recruiting for someone to join our team as a Scheduler to perform a variety of duties in the coordination of scheduling service for clients in the South Manchester region. This is a newly created additional position working alongside our existing Scheduler to support the ongoing growth of the service, increasing our capacity to support more individuals to live well at home.

This role will be carried out on a full time basis at our Chorlton office, working Monday-Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm with additional out of hours working as part of an on-call rota.

We are offering a base salary of £28,000 - £30,000, as well as up to £4,200 year in addition to this for on-call duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage efficient schedules for clients and Care Professionals, factoring in travel time, holidays, training, and cancellations.
  • Respond quickly to schedule changes and communicate with the team as needed.
  • Match Care Professionals to clients alongside the Client Services and Quality Teams, arranging introductions and ensuring continuity of care.
  • Maintain consistent schedules and small care teams to support client needs.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and Care Professionals for a positive experience.
  • Collaborate with the Care, Client Services, and Quality Teams to resource and schedule care packages promptly.
  • Keep all client and Care Professional details up to date in the scheduling system.
  • Complete Care Professional interviews, assessing their suitability to join our team.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Experience in scheduling within a care environment is hugely advantageous.
  • Confident with IT systems (Microsoft Office/Google Suite, CRM software) and quick to learn new tech.
  • Full driving licence and access to own vehicle.
  • Resilient, positive, and an excellent communicator.
  • Highly organised, calm under pressure, and detail-oriented.
  • Strong team player who builds rapport easily and works well independently.

Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

Licence/Certification:
