Occupational Health Clinic administrator
OH3 LTD- NEWCASTLE -5 days per week -No weekend work. Mon-Friday

Salary depending on experience/qualifications. Hours average 7.5 per day

Do you have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written? Can you balance multiple demands on your time ? Can you prioritise? Do you have a good telephone manner with customers? If so, read on! An exciting opportunity is available for an occupational health medical administrator to join our team. OH3 is a thriving occupational health provider in Newcastle. Our clinical and admin Teams are very friendly and supportive. The successful person must be highly organised, enthusiastic and focused on quality and confidentiality. Very good IT skills with MS Word, Excel, Outlook are essential. Preference given if good track record of working with a medical or other Database system and Online Diary Booking system. Excellent English language, email and other text processing skills necessary. Additional IT skills will be especially welcome - eg use of Microsoft Teams, Sharepoint.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Team online Diary Bookings

Processing and uploading sensitive medical information to OH software.

Liasing with clients and customers by phone.

Liasing with the clinical team to ensure SLAs are met.

Responding to client emails

Formatting, proof reading and sharing OH reports according to strict consent procedures

Maintaining client confidentiality in all aspects of the role.

  • Computer literate with keyboard skills and experience of MS Office software and Excel
  • Excellent Organisational skills
  • To learn how to use bespoke Occupational Health computer systems

Qualifications & Attributes:

  • As a minimum, candidates should have GCSEs (or equivalent), at grade C or above, in Maths and English.
  • The candidate should be professional with excellent attention to detail.
  • Previous experience working in a healthcare or legal environment is desirable.
  • Happy and confident to quickly learn new IT systems
  • Friendly, but professional attitude with customers and colleagues

You must have a professional attitude and excellent communication skill

The post will be based in our clinic in Gosforth, Newcastle and will be required 5 days per week. The hours may vary with advanced diary planning but will be generally be 8hrs eg 8.30-4.30pm or 9-5pm
