Full job description

The Role

  • Meet and greet patients
  • Take payments
  • Answer incoming calls and schedule appointments
  • Type emails and correspondence
  • Maintain patient records and respect confidentiality
  • Help with marketing / PR projects and clinic social media
  • Provide general reception and office support computer & word-processing skills essential)
  • Maintain office presentation and general cleaning
  • Ongoing training provided, including fully-paid seminars (2/3 times/year out of town, over a weekend)

What we're looking for

  • Strong computer skills (social-media skills a bonus)

  • Experience in a similar healthcare support role is a plus, not essential
  • Own means of transport essential, or walking distance to the practice.

Schedule

  • Mon–Thurs, 6.15am–12:15pm, with potential to move to full time.
  • Holiday cover a must.
  • Full practice hours: Mon – Thurs, 6.15am - 6.30 pm, Fri 7.15am – 3pm, Saturday 8.00 – 3pm.
