Full job description

About Us

MyHealthcare Clinic delivers accessible, high-quality healthcare and dental services from the heart of local communities — right inside Tesco Extra. Our Hexham clinic is part of a growing UK network, and we’re looking for someone who can help us deliver an outstanding experience for every patient who walks through our door — and make sure more people in the community know we’re here.

The Role

This is a people-first role. You’ll spend part of your time as the welcoming face of the clinic — greeting patients, helping them navigate our services, and keeping things running smoothly on the floor. The rest of your time you’ll be fronting health promotion events at Tesco, distributing health information, and managing our local presence.

If you’re warm with clients, confident in a crowd, and motivated by genuinely helping people — this role was built for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

· Welcoming patients on arrival and managing check-in and check-out

· Helping patients understand how to book appointments and directing them to the right channels

· Managing patient flow and keeping clinical staff informed throughout the day

· Handling in-clinic queries and signposting patients to the right services

· Expalining the services we offer and our membership packages.

Community Promotions & Marketing

· Fronting health promotion events at Tesco — engaging shoppers and raising awareness of clinic services

· Distributing health information leaflets and promotional materials in-store

· Help with managing the clinic’s local social media presence — posts, stories, short-form video (Instagram, Facebook) together with the marketing team

· Liaising with Tesco store management to coordinate event logistics and promotional placements

What We’re Looking For

· Experience in customer service, promotions, or a patient-facing role

· Warm and confident communicator — equally at ease with a patient needing reassurance and a shopper you’ve just approached

· Comfortable being the face of the clinic at public events

· Organised and self-directed — you can manage your own time

· A sociable and extrovert personality

· Calm under pressure with good attention to detail

· Any background in healthcare, dental, or health promotion is a genuine advantage — not essential

What We Offer

· Competitive salary

· Full training provided — clinical systems, patient protocols, and marketing tools

· A varied, outward-facing role with real community impact

· Career growth and personal development opportunities

· Performance Bonus

· Easy access location with free Tesco parking

Pay: £25,000.00-£28,500.00 per year

Work Location: In person
