Full job description

Paston Surgery is looking for a Receptionist with excellent communication and customer service skills to join our friendly team. This is a permanent position and will be part time.

You will be part of our Patient Liaison Team (PLT) who support clinical and managerial staff, and, help patients with their queries and problems. In addition to Reception work, there will be a small amount of administrative work

Applicants should be enthusiastic, professional. Applicants with experience of working in a busy GP surgery will be given priority. Training and support will be given to the successful applicant, as needed.

You will become part of a busy team and will need excellent interpersonal skills. You will need to have empathy and possess good administrative and organisational skills.

The role will be be 30 to 35 hours per week, Mon to Fri and set between the hours of 7.00am and 6.30pm. Please advise us of any working restrictions you have in your application.

In addition to your salary you will also be enrolled in the excellent NHS Pension Scheme. Training and ongoing development support the role. There is 4 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays.
