Working Hours

  • Monday: 4:00 pm – 8:15 pm
  • Tuesday: 4:00 pm – 8:15 pm
  • Friday: 1:30 pm – 6:30 pm

Are you an organised, friendly and professional individual with a passion for delivering excellent customer service? We are looking for a Patient Co-ordinator to join our busy and supportive practice team.

As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll play a vital role in ensuring they receive a welcoming and efficient service, whether in person, over the telephone or online. You'll work closely with our clinical and administrative teams to help deliver high-quality patient care.

Main Responsibilities

  • Greeting patients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner.
  • Managing appointments using the practice appointment system.
  • Answering incoming telephone calls and responding to patient enquiries.
  • Signposting patients to the most appropriate service.
  • Processing patient registrations and updating medical records.
  • Accurately inputting information onto the clinical system.
  • Liaising with GPs, nurses, community services and other healthcare professionals.
  • Supporting the wider practice team with administrative duties as required.

We're Looking For Someone Who:

  • Has excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Is organised, reliable and able to work under pressure.
  • Enjoys working as part of a team.
  • Has good IT skills and attention to detail.
  • Previous reception, customer service or healthcare experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
