Full job description

Treatment Coordinator | Orthodontic Excellence, Solihull

816 Warwick Road, Solihull, West Midlands B91 3EU

Full-time · £30,000–£40,000 · Monday-Friday

Change smiles. Change lives. Join us.

At Orthodontic Excellence, we don't just straighten teeth — we give people the confidence to smile. For over 30 years we've been one of the West Midlands' most trusted specialist orthodontic practices “Best Orthodontic Practice 2022”, and we treat every patient like family.

We build our team around attitude. We hire for attitude, train for skills.

We're looking for a Treatment Coordinator — someone with real warmth, real presence, immediately likeable, with the ability to build relationships and trust. This is a people role first. Everything else, we'll teach you.

No dental background? Genuinely, no problem. If you've got the right personality, a hunger to learn and you know how to build trust fast, we'll give you all the training you need. What we can't teach is empathy, energy, and the instinct for knowing what someone needs before they say it — that must be in you already.

What you'll actually be doing

  • Own the welcome — be the warm, confident first face every patient sees, setting the tone for their whole journey with us
  • Guide, don't push — lead consultations and explain treatment options and fees clearly, honestly and without pressure
  • Read the room — pick up on hesitation, nerves or unspoken questions, and respond with patience and reassurance
  • Turn “maybe” into “yes” — patients come to us wanting straight teeth and a smile they love. You're not selling; you're helping them feel genuinely confident in their decision to start. Our patients tell us this is a special place — your job is to help every new patient feel that certainty from their very first visit
  • Keep things moving — manage bookings, follow-ups and patient records with real organisation and care
  • Be a true team player — work hand-in-hand with our specialist orthodontist and clinical team so every patient's experience feels seamless

Who you are

  • A natural people-person — you connect easily, listen properly, and make people feel heard
  • Confident having honest conversations about cost and commitment, without ever feeling “salesy”
  • Resilient and upbeat — a “no” doesn't knock you off your stride
  • Organised, reliable, and someone your team can count on
  • Background in sales, hospitality, retail or customer service? Great. Background in dental or orthodontics? Also great — but not essential
  • Genuinely motivated by helping people, not just hitting numbers

What we offer

  • Salary £30,000–£40,000. Starting salary £30,000–£34,000 depending on experience, with progression to the top of the band at your first review, based on demonstrated results. Straight salary — no commission. We pay you to help patients say “yes” well, not to push
  • To put that in context: more guaranteed pay than the typical base salary of sales roles across the West Midlands — without the commission rollercoaster
  • Full structured training from week one, including a dedicated treatment-coordinator development programme — no dental experience required
  • Real career progression — we promote from within: Treatment Coordinator → Senior TC → practice leadership
  • A warm, tight-knit team that will back you from day one, working alongside one of the region's most respected specialist orthodontists, in a practice patients love
  • 20 days + bank holidays · workplace pension · training and development · Employee discount

How to apply

Email Iqra at iqra.ishaq@orthodonticexcellence.co.uk with your CV and a short note — a few lines is plenty — telling us about a time you won someone's trust.

What happens next: a phone chat with Iqra, then a visit to the practice for a working session where you'll role-play a consultation with us — we'll show you exactly what we mean by “guide, don't push”. We'd love our new Treatment Coordinator to start in October 2026.

Orthodontic Excellence is an equal-opportunities employer — we hire on attitude and ability, and we welcome applicants from all backgrounds!

Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year

  • Employee discount
  • On-site parking
