Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and compassionate GP Assistant / Care Coordinator to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will support general practitioners (GPs) by managing patient appointments, coordinating care plans, LCS and QoF Searches and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Your energetic approach will help enhance patient experience, streamline administrative processes, and facilitate effective communication between patients and healthcare providers. Duties

  • Manage appointment scheduling, cancellations, and follow-ups efficiently to optimize GP availability
  • Act as a primary point of contact for patients, providing friendly assistance and gathering essential information prior to consultations
  • Coordinate patient care plans by liaising with multidisciplinary teams and ensuring timely referrals or test arrangements
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with data protection regulations

Requirements
