We are seeking a dedicated and professional Late Shift Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. This role is essential in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring smooth daily operations during the late evening hours. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing patient interactions, scheduling appointments, and supporting the clinical team with organisational tasks. Responsibilities

  • Greeting patients warmly and professionally upon arrival for late shift appointments
  • Managing patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently
  • Scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming appointments using our IT systems
  • Answering phone calls, responding to enquiries, and providing information about treatments and services
  • Maintaining accurate patient records in compliance with data protection regulations
  • Assisting with administrative tasks such as filing, billing, and processing payments
  • Supporting the clinical team by coordinating patient flow and ensuring smooth operations during the late shift
  • Upholding high standards of patient care, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a reception or administrative role within a healthcare setting is preferred but not essential
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of IT systems relevant to dental practice management is advantageous
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
  • Compassionate approach with a focus on delivering outstanding patient care
  • Ability to work independently during late evening hours and adapt to changing priorities
  • Basic understanding of nursing or healthcare terminology is a plus but not mandatory
