Clinical Receptionist
Reports to: Practice Manager
Salary: £25-£27K per annum
Hours: 37.5 in a shift pattern Mon-Fri (between 07.30-19.30)
London City Physiotherapy are looking for a dynamic and organised individual to join the team as a Clinical Receptionist at our City clinic. This would be a great position for someone who is looking for a role within the private healthcare sector and working with a team dedicated to providing the highest level of service.
About the company:
London City Physiotherapy is a well established Physiotherapy clinic, based in the City of London. We’re a team of physios, massage therapists and Pilates instructors, all with over 10 years experience in their respective fields. Our clientele consists of loyal patients and high net worth individuals looking for the best treatment from the most experienced clinicians and a 5 star service.
Main duties and responsibilities include:
- Acting as the first point of contact at our City clinic, meeting and greeting patients.
- Day to day management of the front desk including managing emails, phone calls and incoming enquiries.
- Opening and closing of clinic (pending on shift)
- Efficient diary management across three clinics paying close attention to patient confidentiality
- Management of incoming deliveries and distribution
- Financial duties including invoicing and receipt of payments
- Stock management and procurement
- Clinical correspondence to patients and consultants
- Clinic Referrals
- Supporting the Directors and Practitioners with ad hoc requests
- Management of the waiting area and clinical environment
Skills required :
- Background in healthcare is ideal but not essential
- Excellent customer service
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Excellent typing skills
- Excellent administration and prioritising skills
- Ability to work autonomously as well as a team.
- Strong understanding of the patient journey
- Motivated and focused with strong attention to detail
- Professional but approachable at all times
- Excellent time management
- IT literate
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and provide quick thinking solutions
- Previous experience in a front of house role
- Experience using practice management software such as Cliniko, TM3 or Semble.
- Full right to work in the UK, without Sponsorship
