Full job description

Active Health is a busy, community-focused Chiropractic clinic based in Dinas Powys, Vale of Glamorgan. Recently celebrating our 14th anniversary, we're proud to be a well-established and trusted part of the local community with a great reputation.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, honest and motivated team player with a positive attitude and great people skills.

This is primarily a reception role, playing a central part in the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic — but for the right person, there's real scope to get involved in other aspects of the clinic as well. We're keen to find someone pro-active, IT literate and forward-thinking who can bring fresh ideas and grow with the role over time.

This is a part-time position across 4 shifts a week (around 18 hours per week). Shifts will be on a two-week rolling shift pattern with a mixture of mornings and afternoons.

The successful candidate will also be expected to work occasional additional shifts to help cover team members' annual leave or sickness, with advance notice provided wherever possible.

Although this is a part-time position, the successful candidate will be an integral part of the team, with genuine opportunity to grow their role and responsibilities as they develop — supporting the continued growth and success of the clinic.

Salary: £12.71 per hour

Our perfect applicant:

  • Friendly yet professional people person with a positive attitude, high energy and willingness to learn
  • Pro-active, forward-thinking and IT literate, with an understanding of social media
  • A commitment to providing high-quality customer service
  • Reliable and punctual with great attention to detail
  • Adaptable and resourceful, able to inspire those around them
  • Thrives in a busy environment and remains calm and organised under pressure
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • An interest in health and well-being and a desire to support others on their wellness journey
  • Previous experience in customer service, reception or marketing would be desirable but not essential.
