Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organised Dental Receptionist (dental experience not essential as training is provided) to join our beautiful FULLY PRIVATE cosmetic/implant dental practice. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and be comfortable with the demands of a busy dental clinic.

Private dental experience or working in high end concierge desirable .

You will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice and maintaining a welcoming environment for all visitors.

Duties

  • Greet patients warmly as they arrive at the practice and assist them with check-in procedures.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring optimal use of the dentist's time.
  • Manage patient records, including updating personal information and treatment histories accurately.
  • Handle incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries regarding services, appointments, and insurance coverage.
  • Process payments and manage billing inquiries with professionalism and accuracy.
  • Maintain a clean and organised reception area, ensuring all materials are stocked and readily available.
  • Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow throughout the practice.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including filing, data entry, and correspondence.
  • Assist management with social media plans
  • Manage dental lab work
  • Contact new patients
  • There is scope to progress into a Treatment Coordinator role

Requirements

  • Experience in a customer facing administrative role (dental or high end concierge)
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact positively with patients and team members.
  • Proficiency in using office software and equipment; familiarity with Dentally software is an advantage (training will be provided).
  • Understanding of CQC requirements is desired but not essential
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm demeanour.
  • A compassionate approach towards patients, demonstrating empathy and understanding of their needs.
