Full job description

We are looking for a Receptionist / Decon Nurse (MAT Cover) to join our award-winning dental practice in York City Centre; to work with us to deliver the highest quality of comfort and care to our patients and to strive to continuously improve the quality of our service and who reflects our vision for the future.

The role as a Receptionist/Decon Nurse in York:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service
  • Providing support and assistance to the reception team
  • Understand and promote the values and culture of The Dental Team Group
  • Registering new patients
  • Assisting patients to complete all necessary forms and documentation
  • Utilising and updating systems as necessary
  • Working in compliance with privacy and security regulations
  • Answering and manage incoming calls in a friendly, helpful manner
  • Responding to information requests
  • Scheduling appointments, through email or by telephone; and completing patient recalls and appointment reminder calls
  • Maintaining and managing the Decon room
  • Ensuring all equipment is correctly prepared for Clinicians
  • Maintaining a safe, and clean working environment at all times.
  • Maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
  • Disinfect and sterilise all instruments.

  • GDC Registered (where applicable)
  • Fantastic patient manner with a patient focused approached
  • Preferred SOE experience
