Key Responsibilities

• Review digital medical records to court-ready standards.
• Chronology Creation: Build clear, date-ranged chronological timelines of medical events, treatments, and outcomes.
• Merit Assessment: Identify potential breaches of duty, delays in treatment, and issues relating to legal causation.
• Missing Document Identification: Spot gaps in patient files and request missing records from healthcare providers.
• Compliance & GDPR: Maintain strict adherence to data protection laws and patient confidentiality regulations.
• Expert Liaison: Work alongside solicitors, legal teams, and independent medical experts to guide case strategy.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Clinical Background: Requires a qualification as a Registered Nurse, Midwife, Doctor, or an Allied Health Practitioner (e.g., Paramedic, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist) with several years of post-qualification clinical experience.
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret complex medical terminology, clinical notes, and healthcare audits.
• IT Proficiency: Comfortable using electronic health record (EHR) systems, digital bundling tools, Google.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional precision in documenting facts and highlighting crucial clinical decisions.
